About The Right Step
The Right Step, a 501(c)3 organization, grew out of the therapeutic riding program at Coventry Farms in Littleton, Colorado. Through our partnership with Coventry Farms, the Right Step receives horses, access to boarding and riding facilities, professional support and anything else that will meet the needs of the program. Since 2008, we have been providing equine assisted activities to individuals facing physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and learning challenges.
The Right Step is a PATH International member center and follows their guidelines. PATH International is the national membership and credentialing association for equine assisted activities. Our implementation of the required core standards ensures safety and quality within the field of equine.

Meet the people at The Right Step
The Right Step is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board’s main role is policy development and fiscal oversight of the organization. However, we are very much a "working" board and also help with with fundraising events, volunteer/donor recognition and occasional facilities maintenance.
