Join us for Grooming and Blanketing Training at The Right Step, designed for both new and current volunteers who want to build confidence in essential horse care skills. Led by Christine, this hands-on training covers proper horse grooming techniques, safe handling practices, and how to correctly and safely blanket our horses.

Volunteers will learn why grooming is important for horse health, how to identify common issues, and how to ensure blankets are fitted securely and comfortably. This training helps maintain the well-being of our horses while creating a safe, consistent environment for our adaptive programs.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refresh your skills, this session provides practical knowledge that supports both our horses and the individuals we serve.
