The Right Step, Inc. (TRS) is a community where people of all abilities can experience confidence, connection, and joy through the immeasurable of horses. Our PATH Intl. certified instructors, trained volunteers, and gentle horse herd work together to create a safe, inclusive environment where every client is supported as they take meaningful steps toward growth. Through Adaptive Riding, Equine Connections Program, and Barn Events, we empower individuals to build strength, independence, and emotional resilience — one step at a time.

Adaptive Riding Lessons

Our Adaptive Riding Program provides individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges the opportunity to build strength, confidence, and independence through horseback riding. With the support of PATH Intl. certified instructors, volunteers, and our incredible horses, participants develop riding skills while experiencing the joy and connection that comes from time in the saddle. Connections

The Equine Connections Program is a curriculum-based, ground program designed to help participants build meaningful relationships with horses while developing personal awareness, confidence, and life skills. Through guided interactions with horses and structured learning activities, participants explore communication, trust, and self-regulation in a supportive barn environment. Learn more.

Barn Events

Experience the magic of the barn in a new way. TRS Barn Events bring people together for hands-on experiences with our horses through clinics, corporate team-building, birthday celebrations, and other special gatherings. It’s a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and spend time in a peaceful barn setting. Learn more.
