We’re Taking our Next Step
The Right Step, Inc. (TRS) is preparing for an exciting new chapter. In May 2026, TRS will move to a brand new barn at the Denver Polo Club in Sedalia — a dedicated space designed to support the growth of our programs and the community we serve.
Our new facility will include a 19-stall barn, an attached indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and turnout space for our horses. For the first time, TRS will have a home designed specifically for our program, allowing us to expand our schedule, add weekend programming, and better meet the growing demand for our services.
What This Move Makes Possible
Today, TRS provides approximately 40–50 lessons each week. With our new facility, we plan to gradually increase to 80 weekly lessons in the first year alone. This growth will allow us to begin serving more individuals currently on our waitlist, which now includes more than 300 people.
The new barn will also create opportunities for additional programs, educational clinics, community events, and corporate partnerships that will strengthen the long-term sustainability of TRS while expanding our impact.
A Community Effort
This move represents an important investment in the future of TRS and the individuals who benefit from our programs. To support this transition, our fundraising goal for 2026 is $200,000 in total nonprofit income, including $58,500 needed in move-in expenses during the first quarter.
The exciting part is that this next step will be built together with our community. There are many ways to support the move — through donations, sponsorship opportunities, or helping us equip the new barn.

Become a Paddock Partner
We are seeking sponsors and partners who want to invest in the long-term sustainability of TRS:
Grand Barn Naming – $100,000
Name the new barn and be recognized as the primary partner of the facility. Recognition: Exterior barn signage, logo on website, press release mention, recognition at our opening event.
Arena Sponsor – $50,000
Name the indoor or outdoor arena.
Recognition: Arena signage, website recognition, acknowledgment in program materials.
Volunteer & Client Support Space – $25,000
Furnish and name reception, lounge, or observation areas.
Recognition: Signage in space, website recognition, acknowledgment at events.
Horse Stall Sponsor – $5,000 per stall
Name a stall for a working horse.
Recognition: Personalized stall plaque, website recognition, social media spotlight.
Program Equipment Sponsor – $1,000–$10,000
Fund adaptive riding equipment, office systems, or volunteer and client spaces.
Recognition: Recognition in the barn, newsletters, and social media.
